After a few days on the road so far, I can assure you that it gave me the utmost pleasure this evening to see someone else in the driver’s seat . . . especially since that someone just happens to be one of my favorite people in the world. Road trips aren’t so bad when they mean a visit with a brother, a sister-in-law, one [plus?] niece . . .

In honor of National Bike Month, a local shop is offering free rentals of its new models. So this afternoon I left the house on foot and returned on wheels–snazzy, shiny ones, no less . . . pretty good deal, I thought :-)

I know, I know . . . enough already with the foot photos. But I couldn’t resist one more, for two reasons: one being the fact that I am once more climbing. Two being the fact that last time I was using another’s shoes; but this time I am happily reunited with my own. And no, I was not climbing trees. But this turned out to be an easier route for photo-ing than the prospect of lugging my [large] camera up the cliff :-)
